Electric Vehicles to Be Huge
There has been so much talk about the development of new cars which do not run on fuel, but rather run on electricity. But a huge amount of people are still asking the question as to when these will be developed. I mean don't get me wrong we currently have electric vehicles on the road but they literally take hours to charge and only drive for a few miles.
Well things are now getting a lot different because electric car creation company Tesla Motors have recently said the new Tesla Motor which can literally hit 60MPH in just under 4 seconds, besides that the vehicle can give you just over 220 miles of drive time on a three hour charge. But although it is a great achievement its still something that still needs quite a bit of work.
I personally believe that for an electric car to go mainstream it needs to be able to do at least 300 miles on a ten minute or so charge. There is no way that the majority of people will spend 3 hours each day charging their vehicle. Charging points must be created like petrol stations, so people can quickly top up and move on.
Because I 100% believe that this is how things will plan out, can you imagine the sheer amount of unemployment if petrol stations closed down. So I can certainly say that the governments around the world will not let this happen as they would instead make chargeable power points when the electric run motors did finally end up hitting the market they would be able to charge a nice little sum of money.
