No More Cars in the City
As we already know the government are always looking for ways to clean up pollution that is caused throughout the globe and within the last few years they have started clamping down on vehicles. We all know that vehicles are one of the worst polluting machines of all, and this is specifically why we the government have introduced a car scrappage scheme. This is just to get all of the old polluting cars off of the road and instead bringing the new ones.
But the USA have gone a bit further and stopped any cars from the streets of Times Square, the move is set to last a whole year as authorities look to cut pollution and make big cities a much nicer place to live. Besides that I also think another benefit that can come from all of this is that people will become a lot healthier then they usually would. The world is currently suffering with obesity and this is simply because no one gets any exercise anymore. But with taking away the use of cars, folk will begin to become a lot healthier by walking.
So should car really not be allowed in busy destinations? As we already know there is a big amount of positive aspects, but there are also a huge amount of negative such as shops not being able to get deliveries on time? And could taxi drivers actually end up losing a lot of customers simply by not being able to pick them up?
Whichever way you take a glance at this scenario there is likely to be a lot of good and bad aspects equally in their own rights.
